This MK2b-ALU PCB heated bed has the same dimensions as the MK2a variant, but can be supplied with both 12V and 24V. An obligatory item for printing ABS.

Thermistor for temperature-control included.

Description

A PCB Heated Bed is used for heating your build platform. The heat prevents warping of your prints by improving the attachment of the filament to the build plate, which is necessary for troublefree printing with ABS filament.

Usage & Maintenance

As you can see in the picture, you have to use different solder pads depending on the voltage you want to use.

The MK2b is also called the "Dual Power Heated Bed". This means that the user can power the heated bed with 12V and 24V. The time it takes to heat the heated bed is a lot shorter when used with 24V.
De benodigde tijd om het platform op te warmen is dan ook duidelijk korter wanneer 24V wordt gebruikt.
